There
are a number of ways to approach the turning of form and the
blending of colors within a gouache painting. Wet-into-wet techniques
commonly used with watercolors and oils can be employed with
some success. This effect can be quite subtle. However, one
is limited to working small areas at a time, as the quick dry-time
makes the treatment of large areas in this way impractical if
not impossible.
