This illustration served as a backdrop for
a large (4' x 2') topic panel in the Hall of
Prehistoric North Carolina. The artwork
was combined with text and a cast of a
fossil dinosaur egg, serving as a 3D
"realistic graphic." The interpretive
panel explained aspects of a diorama
that depicted a large nesting site of the
duckbill dinosaur, Edmontosaur.
